C-IX, LLC (“C-IX”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the website c-ix.com and provides security system services. By accessing our website, requesting a quote, scheduling service, or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. Our Services

C-IX, LLC provides the design, sales, installation, and maintenance of residential and commercial security systems. We also facilitate monitoring services through our partner, Rapid Response.

2. Professional Services Agreement

The following terms apply to all service, installation, and maintenance work performed by C-IX:

  • Hours of Operation: Hours of operation are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

  • Service: C-IX invoices service labor at $95 per hour ($150 Night and Weekend), per technician unless otherwise noted. Billable time starts once the technician(s) reach the site. The first hour of any on-site service is billed in full; subsequent hours will be billed in 15-minute increments.

  • Access: The client must allow access to the site where work is to be performed. If a technician is dispatched to a site but is unable to perform service due to restricted access, on-site service billing applies.

  • Service Warranty: All labor is warranted for a period of 12 months beyond the date of invoice. System failure in any capacity due to a negligent installation by C-IX will be corrected at the expense of C-IX. This excludes any service work provided due to failed equipment or negligent use outside the control of C-IX. Damages may not exceed the invoiced value.Equipment Warranty
    C-IX does not warranty equipment. Equipment warranties are solely the responsibility of the manufacturer, and C-IX will work with both parties to find an agreeable resolution. Any service work provided during the process is billable. Damages may not exceed the invoiced value.

  • Tampering: Unless authorized by C-IX, any tampering or modification of an installation will result in voiding of the warranty.

  • Estimates: Estimates are sent via email and are good for 10 days beyond the date issued.

  • Invoices: Invoices are sent via email and due within 15 days of the date issued.

  • Deposits: A retainer invoice for deposit will be generated upon the acceptance of an estimate greater than $10,000.

  • Payment: Payments are due within 15 days of an invoice. Invoices beyond 35 days past due result in void of warranty.

  • Late Fees: Invoices 35 days past due will be assessed a late fee of 2% of the value of the invoice unless otherwise noted.

  • Postage: A $2 charge will be added to all estimates, invoices, and/or statements sent by any method that isn’t email.

3. Electronic Communications and SMS ConsentBy providing your phone number when requesting a quote, scheduling service, or communicating with us, you consent to receive transactional SMS/text messages from C-IX regarding appointment scheduling, confirmations, cancellations, service updates, billing, and account matters. All SMS messages are strictly transactional — we do not send marketing or promotional messages via SMS.Message frequency varies (typically 2–4 messages per appointment or service). Message and data rates may apply.To opt out of SMS messages at any time, you may:

We will process your request promptly and send one final confirmation message. Opting out does not affect your existing services or other forms of communication unless you specifically request otherwise.

4. Intellectual Property

All content on c-ix.com is owned by C-IX, LLC or its licensors and may not be reproduced without permission.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, C-IX’s total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service or product at issue. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

6. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Pueblo County, Colorado.

7. Changes to Terms

These Terms are subject to change at any time. We will post the revised version with a new “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
